Allstar Medical Supply is the new store in town, just 10 blocks from Rossmoor, in the old Blockbuster Video location at the end of Alpine Street, off of Olympic Blvd. It features a large parking lot right out front and a spacious, well-lit, 2500 square foot state-of-the-art showroom. Allstar Medical’s caring and knowledgeable staff will help find
the right product for every individual’s needs to live easier.
The store is owned by registered pharmacist Michael Kuller, making it the only home medical supply store in the Bay Area owned by a healthcare professional. Involved in home health care since 1983, Kuller also owned Allstar Oxygen Services, which has served the area, for over 10 years. His in-depth knowledge of medicine and health care can really make a difference in helping customers find the right product for them.
Mike O’Malior, the other Mike, is manager of the store and has been working with home medical equipment for 30 years. Rounding out the staff is Karen Lucchesi, a favorite of many of the customers.
In addition to the store’s knowledgeable staff is its warm, friendly, customer service-oriented atmosphere, which customers have said they appreciate time and time again. “Our customers tell us they are very happy with their experience in our store, glad we’re here and many tell us they even had fun shopping for these items,” Kuller said.
Allstar Medical has the largest selection of products at excellent prices, many lower than competitor’s sale prices. They also have a liberal return policy and provide same-day delivery.
The store sells the following: at least 10 lift chairs to try out, in different sizes, styles, colors and price ranges, starting at $629; at least 8 models of scooters to test drive, starting at $895; and 16 rollators, in every shape, style, size and color imaginable, with a complete line of baskets, bags and other accessories for them. For customer convenience, All Star Medical offers in-home demonstrations of the scooters.
Allstar Medical also carries adjustable beds, stair lifts, transport wheelchairs, ramps, compression socks, orthopedic braces and supports, Dr. Comfort shoes, bath safety and convenience products, incontinence supplies, diagnostics, sickroom supplies and aids for daily living. If the store doesn’t carry a particular product, staff can either place an order for it or find a place that carries it.
